Hi. I'm Nancy J. Padgett. I live in San Francisco, California,
USA.
About me: I hold a Ph.D. in European History
from Stanford University, and a B.A. and M.A. in history from
Emory University. I design and program the layout,
research the material, write the articles, and take most of the
photos.

Mike holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Decision Analysis
and produces his own Web site www.treeplan.com.
Technical notes: This site launched in August
2010. I update it whenever I have the complete another "chapter."
I also write shorter, companion blogs; the current blog is
www.ParisWithNancy.
Expression Web is my Web app, with Ajatix as the
menu app. My blogs are in WordPress. For photography, I
currently use a Nikon J-1. Where museums, do not permit indoor photography, or the weather
and lighting are bad, I've used stock photos or photos from
others. You may use my
photos freely except in commercial applications.
